Zaire Jamal Taylor is a professional basketball player who currently plays with the Dutch basketball team, Magixx. He was born on August 30, 1986 to Vicky Taylor and Gyasi Bey. Taylor played two seasons of college basketball at the University of Delaware before transferring to the University of Missouri where he played two more seasons of basketball. He is most remembered by his fans for hitting the game-winning shot against arch-rival, Kansas, with 1.3 seconds remaining. In 2009, he was named to the Big 12 All-Rookie Team, and was a member of the Big Twelve Championship All-Tournament Team in 2009. He was also named as the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on February 9, 2009.[1]
As of March 24, 2011, Taylor has played in 31 games for Magixx, and is averaging thirteen points, three assists, two steals, and thirty minutes per game.
